Summary

The performance of an organization is often correlated with that of its information system, whose permanent transformation must accompany that of its business processes. The information system modeling course focuses on specifying the static, functional and dynamic points of view of an organization using an object modeling language. It provides a process for identifying business processes.

Educational goals

At the end of the course, the student will be able to - Model an information system in UML from a functional, static and dynamic point of view and use simple methods and tools to model the company's information system - Identify the processes of an organization Contribution of the course to the competency framework (see RNCP sheet); at the end of the course, the student will have progressed in: - The ability to define the characteristics of a product (a computer application) - The ability to understand the company as a system and to identify the processes of an organization (process approach)
