Summary
As students are about to complete their studies, this module mainly aims to prepare them for certification tests that will guarantee them a certified language level. The main objective of the module is to: - Continue acquiring the appropriate grammar and vocabulary. - Build on students' language skills and performance. - Stimulate students' curiosity with regards to the events reported in the target language's press. - Encourage oral exchanges and discussions. - Put students in professional communication situations. The relatively small size of the groups also makes it possible to emphasise the two oral skills (oral comprehension, and continuous and interactive oral expression) without neglecting the two written skills.
Educational goals
At the end of semester 9, students will be able to: - Consolidate their knowledge of grammar and vocabulary. - Gather information from, analyse and comment on ᅵ in writing and orally ᅵ the news of the country or countries of the target language. - Take part in personal and/or professional conversations. - Prepare for certification tests. The course contributes to the skills framework (please refer to the RNCP [France's national directory of professional certifications] sheet). At the end of the course, students will have made progress in: - Analysing the specific characteristics related to European and international cultures as they learn their professional living language 2 (LV2).
