Summary
Business modeling is the construction of models of a company or a specific part (a domain) of the company. It aims to understand the structure, functioning and behaviour of a domain in order to: build a common vision, highlight dysfunctions and risks, improve the organization radically (re-engineering) or continuously (quality approach). It makes it possible to compare reorganization alternatives, to predict the performance of operational processes before their implementation, to prepare the computerization of certain processes.
Educational goals
At the end of the course, the student will be able to: - Perform a business process mapping - Model a business process with BPMN using a tool - Propose process improvements and argue them Contribution of the course to the competency framework (see RNCP sheet); at the end of the course, the student will have progressed in: - The ability to recommend improvements in terms of organization and procedures - The ability to define priorities for improvement actions - The ability to communicate on his activity based on internal communication methods
