Summary
Students learn kanji and more advanced grammar, such as "tai" forms, consequence, "think/say" cases, intent, relative phrases and "kara", "made", and "to" particles. There are exercises and small cultural presentations on traditional Japanese festivals (hina matsuri, kodomo no hi, shichi go san, tanabata, and obon).
Educational goals
Students will be able to gain a deeper understanding of the Japanese mentality and cultural history. Regarding the Japanese language, students will be able to have a useful conversation on a daily basis and read simple texts.
