Summary

After a short remind on chemical bonds and the notion of valence, the compounds based on sulfur, phosphorus, boron and silicon are introduced following their family, with the aim to earn how there are synthesized, what are their reactivity, and what they can be used for.

Educational goals

To know the main synthetic tools where take part compounds based on sulfur, phosphorus, boron and silicon, as well as to earn a deeper understanding on organic reactivity through reactions mechanisms.

Sustainable development goals

Knowledge control procedures

Continuous Assessment
