Summary
This course allows students to learn the basic concepts of computer-aided modelling for mechanical systems. With the help of 3D printing, students will also learn how to turn their virtual models into physical prototypes. The software used is CATIA-V5.
Educational goals
At the end of the course, students will be able to: - Analyse the mechanical functions of a product; - Structure the design approach; - Define a modelling method; - Be part of the process for developing a product; * Use Catia software: * Part modelling module; * Part assembly module; * Part and assembly drafting module. - Complete the various steps to produce a 3D print using a CAD model
