Summary
Courses and exercises in order to study mathematical tools and concepts which are essential during the academic education of an IG2I engineer.
Educational goals
At the end of the course, the student will be able to: - Solve a linear differential equation of the first and second order. - Lay the foundations of linear algebra: vector spaces, linear applications, matrices, determiners, systems. - Study the different algebraic structures if time permits. At the end of the course, the student will have progressed in: - To understand a technical problem - Analyze and put in place a scientific approach of problem solving - Bring a solution to a problem - Understand a complex project - Analyze and implement a scientific approach to complex project resolution - Provide a solution to a complex project - Create, innovate - Analyze and compare technical solutions - Present, support results - Team working Knowledges worked: those around - Differential equations - The linear algebra - Algebraic structures Skills developed: - Understand, translate, explain and formulate a scientific statement in a precise and rigorous manner. - Establish a clear and rigorous demonstration of a result by organizing his argumentation. - Put into practice theoretical results when solving an exercise. - Interpret the result of the analysis of a mathematical object. - Develop your critical sense in the face of a scientific result or a method. - Computational skills to apply to other disciplines. - Work in a team, help a friend in difficulty, think together to improve the solution of a problem or method used.

Pedagogy
Paper support distributed at the beginning of the course to be completed by the student. Each notion is worked on immediately after explaining it through an exercise sheet. Regular questions allow the student to do the point on his knowledge between two final exams.
